Illogicality and Absurdities: Open letter to Turai Yar’adua
|
In many respects, you
share the attributes of Eva Peron in your unbridled lust for power and
your unpatriotic refusal to let go, even when the hand writing is so
obvious on the wall. However, unlike Eva Peron, you have made such a
pejorative use of power characterised by voracious lust and
insensitivity. Your matriarchy has nothing for posterity to remember
other than nepotism, arrogance and corruption.

A BLOODY REVOLUTION; I SACRIFICE MYSELF: AN OPEN LETTER TO MY BROTHER : by BASH ALI
|
First, I wish you a quick recovery and a quick safe trip back home. I also wish you the courage and strength to continue to fight corruption and injustice in Nigeria. I miss you plenty. Most of the leaders or the people in power in this country are corrupt, crooked, greedy, liars, animals in human skins, sycophants, thieves, heartless, satanic, stinks, demonic, visionless, lack of passion, terribly insensitive, anti people and will continue to drive this country backwards until we all end up in hell, unless we stop them now by a bloody revolution and this is why TODAY am sacrificing myself, my blood and my life.

NIgerians Betrayed Me
|
Here I intend to tell Nigerians the meaning of my resignation letter. I shall dwell on how Nigerians betrayed me due to their cowardice. This open letter is meant to put the record straight regarding my tenure as a Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ekiti. I shall tell the truth, nothing but the truth. It’s up to you to change your warped mind and read with an open mind.

Anarchy in Bayelsa State: The Governor’s Response
|
About Alamieyeseigha, Doukoru and Jonathan, your sources failed to tell you how specifically each has held the governor hostage. Dr. Edmond Doukoru is the governor’s mentor and ‘father.’ He is an accomplished man no matter how you look at it. His demands from the governor are mundane. I have heard the governor tell people how lucky he is to have a godfather who asks nothing of him.

Letter to President Yar 'Adua
|
I am taking this unique opportunity as a Nigerian citizen to write you this letter with the hope that some of the issues brought up here will, at least, be considered by your government even if they are not adopted.

What’s the Matter with Okey Ndibe
|
If you know Okey Ndibe, please tell him to take it slow with Yar’Adua. He should desist from attacking the man. Least he forgets, Yar’Adua is not a member of the Ubah family that he helped drive out of the Anambra State House. As for me, I don’t want to be seen as anti-anybody. I obey. I don’t complain or criticize as don’t want to jeopardize my chance at a ministerial position. In case the ministerial positions have been filled up, contracts and ambassadorship would do. Otherwise, commissioner for finance would be acceptable. One Nigeria!!!

Letter to a Partial Mother
|
Despite the fact that I was the brilliant one, you decided to send my brother to school. I was never disturbed by this, for it was obvious only one of us could pass through the classroom – due to financial constraint. Although I didn’t think moodily about it then, now I often wonder why you chose to send a dull child to school instead of the brilliant one?

Open Letter to Nigerian Foreign Affairs Minister
|
Besides, the fee being charged for a lost or damaged Nigerian passport in Austria is simply ridiculous. €22 for swear affidavit; €365 as fine; another €117 when approval is received form Abuja for administrative and passport charges respectively. €504 in total – for a Nigerian passport! The same passport costs less than €100 in Nigeria. Any wonder why passport by proxy is on the rise! Is it a crime to lose one’s passport? I mean why is the need to pay fine? I remember President Obasanjo’s take on the exorbitant passport fee when he came to Hungary in 2001. He had declared it was mainly to deter Nigerians from losing their passports every now and then.

Saharareporters responds to Obasanjo
|
Saharareporters attention has been drawn to a threat mail written by one Kunle Fagbenle who claimed to be "Personal Legal Counsel on International Matters to President Olusegun Obasanjo" in Maryland, US. In the said letter Mr. Kunle Fagbenle claimed that our website defamed his client over a story we did on President Obasanjo's Senior Assistant on Domestic Matters, Emmanuel Uba (A.K.A Andy),

Open Letter to Lamidi Adedibu's Children
|
Your father was given the appellation of strong man of Ibadan politics because of his conceited personality, and his ability to deal ruthlessly with opponents and friends alike. You may be proud of your father but his “achievement” has given amala a bad name. Many Nigerians have stopped eating this delicious food because of the old man. They often argued that eating too much amala, the old man’s favourite delicacy, might make them behave like him – in their old age. See, papa Adedibu has succeeded not only in killing politics in Oyo State.

Dear Obasanjo...Letter From A Loved One
Oby I am tempted to skip the pleasantries and hit the nail on the head especially the mood in the land that is ravaged in blood, poverty and corruption, but I believe that it would be rude. However for all we have shared I should have the privilege to tell you the truth, which is why I am going through the pains of making this letter public..
