Mr. Paul Okechukwu Oranika is a syndicated Columnist with Derivatives Japan, a Tokyo based Newspaper Publication. Mr. Oranika is also the Managing Editor for the Atlanta based Publiciti Magazine. An author of four books, Mr. Oranika is currently the Chairman of Information and Public Affairs for All Nigeria American Congress {ANAC}. He graduated with Masters in Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta Georgia, and is currently working on his doctoral dissertation for a PhD. in Political Science. He is a recipient of several Awards, including "Who is Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities,[1981], and a US Congressional Award for Outstanding Services to the Community {2006] Among Mr. Oranika's books are "Nigeria: One Nation, Two Systems" and "Hedge Funds: Investment Vehicles for the Global Economy". Bad leadership has helped to institutionalize corruption as part of the status quo in Nigeria. Since oil drilling started in Nigeria during the seventies, Nigeria has earned hundreds of billions of dollars from oil revenues. A significant portion of the oil revenues were stolen by our leaders who were also entrusted with the responsibility of guiding our nation towards sustainable growth and development. The rest of money was mismanaged and siphoned away through phony contracts that yielded nothing.
