Ezekiel C. Nwakwue is an accountant based in Sugar Land, Texas. He is the founder and CEO of E-Z Federated Tax Service, a company that prepares Income Tax for Individual, Small Business, Corporate and Non-profit Organizations. Mr. Nwakwue served as a financial secretary for Ngwa Association in Houston from 1988- 1990. Currently he the Secretary General of Organization for African Democracy and Economic Development Inc., a non-profit organization that is based in Houston Texas.
Mr. Nwakwue is also a freelance writer and a Social Commentator on Nigeria, Africa, and World Affairs, and had written extensively on issues of great importance for Nigerians and Africans in general.. He was a guest at We Are The World TV program hosted by Harding University Television Channel 12, Searcy Arkansas in 1985. Mr. Nwakwue served as a panelist at U.S. Africa Forum and Town Hall event organized by U. S. Africa, the Newspaper and CLASS magazine in May 2005. He was one of the organizers of the Houston African Conference in the summer of 2005 that gathered African Professionals in the United State, Canada and Europe for a one day intensive discussions on how to fight corruption, crimes, disease and hunger in the continent of Africa. Some of Mr. Nwakwue’s commentaries appeared on BBC Africa Have Your Say columns and African Nations Cup. He served as volunteer to Houston Mayor Lee Brown election campaign in 2000 and reelection 2002. He served as volunteer to Houston Judge Joan Nwuli Distric one campaign in 2006 election.
Mr. Nwakwue worked part time as an Interpreter for Berlitz Interpretation Services, an agency retained by the United States Department of Justice to provide interpretation for Immigration Judges. From 1998 to 2002 Mr. Nwakwue interpreted for Judge Yarborough at Export Plaza in Houston, Texas; Judge Vinkle at La Branch in Houston, Texas; Judge Burton at Texas Correction Center in Huntsville, Texas; Judge Martinez at Immigration Detention Center at Los Fresno, Texas.
