» DORA SALVAGING THE GUTLESS DECEITFUL MEMBERS OF THE NIGERIA FEDERAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 02/9/2010 | Nigerian Affairs | Unrated
Nigerians screamed for help, especially for those that have backbones, against Emperor Yar'Adua's absence for 77 days today, Sunday, February 7, 2010. Members of the Federal Executive Council, the only body that has the Constitutional power to determine the fitness of Nigeria President, decided to play a deceitful game on Yar'Adua's health.
Majority of Nigerians abroad most especially, wondered why Dora accepted the position of Nigeria Information Minister in the first place, if not to serve the country, and rebrand the ugly position of the country.
» NIGERIA LEADERS AND THE HONORABLE PATH:A TALE OF TWO MONARCHS
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 02/3/2010 | Nigerian Affairs | Unrated
When journalist Buhari Bello Jese asked a simple question from Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, little did he realize that the disturbing worm in his system would be let out to the public on the ugly situation Nigeria found itself? The journalist punched him with the insinuation that he was the architect that designed the current constitutional long jam with the ill Emperor possibly under life support in Saudi Arabia.
» LET US PRAY: KING MUSA UMARU YAR'ADUA, GET WELL QUICK

It is very disheartening the so-called giant of Africa could not simply apply the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the royal lineage of the regional zoning. The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria clearly states the position of the Vice President when the President is unable to conduct his constitutional responsibilities. Our President is in poor state of health, the advocate of due process, entangled in his own cob-web, not delegating some of his powers to his Vice President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is uncivilized, before his December 23, 2009 departure for medical attention in Saudi Arabia.
» FAROUK ABDUL-MUTALLAB YARDSTICK FOR NIGERIA AS A TERRORIST COUNTRY AND THE NIGERIA SENATE 'SHAKARA' ULTIMATUM TO THE UNITED STATES!
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 01/12/2010 | Nigerian Affairs | Rating:
While Nigeria is searching for the 'Missing' President, one of his citizens, a 23-year old, Nigerian-blood, from a wealthy family, in the African context, Abdulfarouk Umar Abdulmutallab, was about blowing up an American Airplane, to show his loyalty to Al-Qaeda. Almost simultaneously Boko Haram followers welcomed the incident with another religious uprising in Bauchi. Anyone following the unfolding religious events in Nigeria from the early eighties till December 25, 2009, Abdulfarouk attempt to blow himself up for someone in a far distance, would not be surprised.
» WHAT IS THIS FUSS ABOUT YAR'ADUA'S RESIGNATION?
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 12/15/2009 | Nigerian Affairs | Unrated
It is depressing the direction some key Nigeria leaders are taking the country with their sectional interest as opposed to national interest. They could care less the benefits of Nigeria unity would bring to the suffering masses, definitely looking for their personal or sectional interest, regardless. It is very sad reading on the pages of some Nigerian media outlets the on-going debate within and outside Nigeria regarding the Constitutional roles of Nigerian Vice President, if the President, who is not fully in good health, could not exercise his Constitutional responsibilities.
» ECLIPSE OF GOVERNOR-IN-WAITING DEVOID OF ANOTHER CIVIL WAR
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 11/21/2009 | Nigerian Affairs | Unrated
Since there is no more Dr. Andy Uba, the Governor-in-Waiting, we thank God that there would be no more insinuation for another round of Nigeria civil war. My most recent piece on Dim Ojukwu touched bad nerves of some of my readers based on their harsh comments. Most of them failed to realize that war should not be the ultimate approach in resolving world issues. Dim Ojukwu's words are heavy in attaining world peace beginning with Nigeria. My understanding is that Uba could be heading to ECOWAS Court to uproot Nigeria law so he can still be the Governor-in-waiting. MLK might have asked us to Dream, Georgia Lottery would want us all to Dream Big.
» DIM CHUKWUEMEKA ODUMEGWU OJUKWU WITHIN SEVEN YEARS - 2002 AND 2009
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 11/10/2009 | Nigerian Affairs | Rating:
When some Nigerians are working and praying for an everlasting marriage among various ethnic groups in Nigeria, some Prophets have gone to their prayers Mountains and Ocean to hand over some predictions that Nigeria would extinct soon. Most Nigerians are so skeptical about Nigeria surviving the conflicts within the country. Yar'Adua has partially disarmed the Militants and Ikemba of Nnewi wanted to use the Militants arms and ammunitions to go for another round of Civil War.
» HIS GRACE, MOST REVD DR JOHN OLORUNFEMI ONAIYEKAN, GO ON WITH ONE NIGERIA
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 10/29/2009 | Nigerian Affairs | Unrated
United States of America President, Barrack Hussein Obama, whose gene is traceable to Africa, less than a year in office, has won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. That is an indictment on some African leaders who never reasoned beyond their noses and continue to inflict heavy doses of poverty on their citizens. We are happy for Obama at his tender age and short period in office as the 44th President of the United States of America, winning the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.
» BOOK REVIEW: THE EFFECT OF RELIGION ON THE POLITICAL PROCESS:THE CASE OF THE FEDERAL SHARIA COURT OF APPEAL (1975-1990) BY FEMI AJAYI

Boko Haram insurgence, Zaria Shiites outbreak, Jos Mayhem, Maiduguri onslaughts, Kaduna religious riots, Ilorin Church burnings, Maitatsine insurgents, Zaria Uprising, are some of what most of Nigeria leaders experience during their administrations. The religious uprisings surfaced especially in the northern part of the country after the administration of General Yakubu Gowon, since then it has been a test for each administration.

» ADDING HUMAN FACE TO OUR SERVICES TO HUMANITY: FRIDAY GANIYU OYESOLA FAWEHINMI SLEEP ON!
By Femi Ajayi Ph.D | Published 09/16/2009 | Special Features | Unrated
Some Nigeria leaders would be able to sleep right with their eyes closed now that the man on their throat is gone. Don't get too comfortable with that as Gani's spirit fights on. According to him before he passed on, he would continue to fight in his grave. True to his words, as applauded by most Nigerians, his spirit will continue to hound for the regionalized Nigerian leaders, using religion as yardstick to give people their rights; and those who specialized in what goes into their pockets rather than what would make life better for the common man on the street.
